I’ve been writing up a response to the recent viral video below about why the so-called “proof” that particles explore “all possible paths” is fallacious. It’s over 5,000 words for now, and that’s in point form. There’s been such an outpouring of support ranging from professors in physics to researchers in mathematics, who emailed, texted, and tweeted about how much they were glad someone stated these thoughts publicly, dispelling these pop-sci chronicles with some rigor. The same sentiment in the comment section as well. I was / am thrilled, since it was my first video of this type.
I have given a lecture on physics before (on natural units), but that was different.
Anyhow, there were plenty of issues still left unresolved (it was a 14-minute video, after all) and a panoply of questions that commenters had. Thus, I’m going to attempt to cover it soon. In the meantime, there’s a podcast I recorded with Neil Turok on his CPT symmetric universe plus a new solution to the black hole paradox, which itself has been making quite a stir in the physics community. I hope you enjoy it here a few hours ahead of time from the Theories of Everything YouTube channel.
Enjoy.
PS: The first time I spoke to Neil, which also went viral, is below.
